Hey! I am thrilled that I'm receiving the Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist Prize from the Lambda Literary Foundation this year.
The official announcement will be in late April, I think, but here is more information about the award.
I receive the prize at the Lambda Literary Award Ceremony in NYC on May 26. This is kind of like the Oscars for lgbt writers, so I'm very excited and I need an outfit! Lea DeLaria will be hosting, and many other writers will be honored, including Alex Sanchez, also as Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist; Val McDermid; and Edward Albee. (!)
